Davide Cristofaro is a Versatile Artist; with admirable technical maturity and undoubted originality he finds his way through a variety of artistic itineraries.

He deserves to fly higher still, since to such ineffable gifts, acquired over time, through constant application and a painstaking search for the finest expressions of chromatic and compositional Harmony, other gifts are added: an uncommon capacity for self-criticism, humility in his dealings with others, a constant curiosity bent on learning ever new expressive techniques.

These are “rare” gifts, and they are becoming his most precious allies. The creative magma is irrepressible and bears the hallmark of his readily recognisable “Artist’s Touch”. His will to externalise his own unmistakable “Idea of Beauty” is tangible. It is “LIVING SUBSTANCE” and it pulses, untamed, in the recesses of the heart.

This leads him, inescapably, to place himself humbly in a perennial, fruitful and invigorating dialogue with others; it heightens his expressive originality and brings out his… “Author’s Signature”. His search for Beauty pulses in the soul, like incandescent lava, and manifests itself in various fields of expression.

He captures the identifying signs of our Roots and, through Art, confers upon them the marks of indelibility. He loves to create images of dignified, proud women, with raven hair and burning eyes, and never anything that offends their image. He lingers on sacred images too. A refined creator of fashion and a “poet” in the art of painting, he reveals great creativity and a constant search for light. For this reason the force of his talent floods with light his own steps and those of all who are fortunate enough to know him and to appreciate his many-sided artistic and human qualities.

Davide Cristofaro now has a highly personal artistic signature, given by a particular softness of line that reveals technical and stylistic awareness, joined to lyrical tonal nuances that know how to strike a deep chord, expressing, in the figures he portrays, the moment of suspension between past and future. And hence those moments in which, from the sap of silence, it is possible to draw the energy needed to find new roads towards realising our dreams and to take firmly in hand once more the reins of one’s own destiny.

A part of you, your “San Padre Pio”, is in our Cultural Salon and in our hearts, and your brilliant future lies in your talent. You hold in your hands, in your innate creative drive, “SO MUCH POSITIVE ENERGY”, and a marvellous destiny smiles upon you, because in an age in which darkness grows, man feels a desperate need for colour, for light, for beauty, in order to be reconciled with life and to express his own inexhaustible idea of “BEAUTY”. Your works have colour, formal charm, originality and creativity.

You cannot but be very, very proud of yourself. May your flight be high, may your goals be lofty and may your works be incomparable, works that reflect your true essence, able to condense tenderness, courage, grit, extraordinary creative energy and a passion for the work worthy of a hero of everyday life and of a supreme protagonist of the world of art and of fashion.
