Timelines, deliveries and customs
1. Shipping methods
Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from our logistics centres in Italy.
- Bank Transfer: shipment is scheduled within 2 business days of the actual crediting of funds.
- Order Management: every shipment is prepared with certified, product-specific packaging designed to protect silk and fragile works of art. Orders placed separately cannot be combined.
Estimated delivery times: in business days from order confirmation, preparation included.
- Italy: 2-5 days; artworks 5-7.
- European Union: 4-8 days; artworks 7-10.
- United Kingdom, Switzerland and the rest of Europe: 5-10 days; artworks 8-12.
- United States and Canada: 6-11 days; artworks 9-13.
- Rest of the world: 7-16 days; artworks 10-18.
2. Deliveries and insurance
Every purchase is insured free of charge against theft and accidental damage during transit, up to the moment of delivery.
- Signature upon delivery: the signature of an adult is required. From the moment of signature, responsibility for the item passes definitively to the Customer.
- Transport damage (reservation obligation): given the fragile nature of the products (artworks and glass prints), the Customer is required to inspect the parcel. In the event of visible damage or the sound of breakage, it is mandatory to sign with "SPECIFIC INSPECTION RESERVATION", describing the issue (e.g. "audible broken glass"). In the absence of such specific wording, the Seller will not be able to proceed with refunds or replacements.
3. Taxes, duties and customs (Incoterms DAP)
- EU Customers: no additional customs duties are applied.
- Non-EU Customers: orders are shipped under DAP terms: duties, local VAT and import taxes are borne by the recipient and paid on delivery. United Kingdom, orders over £135: duties and import taxes are paid at checkout, nothing on delivery.
- Refusal of delivery: if the customer refuses the parcel to avoid paying duties, the costs of forced return and any customs charges incurred by the Seller will be deducted from the refund.
