On 5 February 2017 davidecristofaro.com opened its doors for the first time: “Art becomes style, art becomes fashion.” There were the first black and gold scarves, the tie, the black box with its ribbon.
Nine years on, the website has a new home. It has been online since September, and today we are presenting it to everyone who follows us: a single address for three worlds that all begin in the same place, the artwork.
Art · Original artworks
Davide’s original artworks are for sale, each with its story, technique and dimensions. Alongside them are the commissioned works: portraits and subjects chosen by the people who wanted them, with the story of how they came to be.
Fashion · Silk accessories
The silks are born from the artworks: scarves, pocket squares and ties, printed in Como. Every design carries within it the artwork it started from.
Design · Fine art prints
The third world brings the artworks into the home, as fine art prints. It is coming soon: we will open it when every piece is ready.
The Journal, in five languages
Exhibitions, travels and the stories behind the artworks live in the Journal. The whole website speaks Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.
