From 13 to 27 June 2025 Pesaro gave two weeks over to Uzbekistan. The Week of Uzbek Culture and Friends brought together art, music, poetry, fashion and craftsmanship, opening on 13 June at 6 pm in the Hall of Mirrors of the Alexander Museum Palace Hotel. Davide was among the invited artists, with two works. The invitation came from Aida Abdullaeva, president of the International Cultural Association Progetto Angeli and the driving force behind the project, together with the Municipality of Pesaro and the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

The works are two portraits on canvas from 2016. Zoe, “Life”, is a face that speaks of hope, rebirth and fraternity, crowned with a headdress full of colour and topped by the peace symbol. Inkar, “Desire and Passion”, is a strong, silent female presence in black, white and gold, guarding her own identity like a sacred rite.

In the hall, Uzbek decorative art was everywhere: hand-painted ceramic plates, traditional fabrics and garments, the flags of the two countries on the same table. For Davide the encounter felt natural: “Uzbek decorative art, with its colours, symbols and ancestral motifs, speaks perfectly to my aesthetic vision and to Italian taste.”

During the week Rossini TV interviewed the soprano Teresa Sparaco, with Inkar behind her. Davide received the certificate of participation signed by Aida Abdullaeva. Then he took the floor himself, beside Aida.

“I much prefer to let my work speak. Because in the end, every colour and every stroke tells more than I could ever say with a microphone in my hand.”
“Your work speaks for itself. You’re an amazing artist of the highest skill!”
“Too handsome to stay behind the scenes! Proud of you for grabbing the mic and sharing your visions”
