To meet someone exceptional along one’s path is rarer than rare…

And one day I met Davide, whether by chance or by some strange game of fate I do not know. His sensibility and his charisma struck me deeply, and over time our bond has grown, just as his talent and his artistic expression have burst forth.

He has succeeded in bringing out his love for art with a constant and undying commitment, with his inexhaustible enthusiasm and his desire to discover. His path, begun from nothing, has led him down new roads and into new universes, creating and shaping the young artist we know today and so greatly admire. Davide stands out for his versatility, ranging across numerous techniques and the most unlikely supports, always with sound, carefully weighed criteria before proceeding. His intense, vivid colours burst from the palette to spread pleasingly across a bare canvas, which without his vitality has nothing to tell.

The resoluteness of his work shines through vigorously in every one of his compositions, in the minuteness of his details and in the refinement of every decoration. I cannot say that I have not been fortunate, first as a director and then as a friend, to be swept up by this cyclone of grit and liveliness that is Davide.
