In the heart of Glendale, California, the legendary Alex Theatre hosted the seventh annual Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards, the HAPAwards, celebrated for honouring excellence in the arts.
On 7 October 2023, Los Angeles was transformed into a stage of elegance, welcoming an extraordinary ceremony that unfolded from afternoon to evening.
The HAPAwards honour outstanding talents across different genres: music, film, comedy and fashion. One of the distinguishing characteristics of their guests is the ability to express themselves, their culture and their style through details of accessories.
Two events in one day
On this extraordinary day, two outstanding events shared the stage. While the HAPAwards red carpet sparkled at Glendale’s famed Alex Theatre, the premiere of the film “Miranda’s Victim” featured a stellar cast ranging from Andy García to Donald Sutherland.
Our bow ties
On the red carpet, the charming Jasmine Elisabeth and the charismatic Raimondo Rossi (Ray Morrison) proudly wore a bow tie signed by Italian designer Davide Cristofaro: a stylish detail that caught the eye and added a touch of unparalleled elegance.
A few weeks later our bow tie appeared again, in the photo accompanying the news of Raimondo Rossi’s nomination for the Emirates Finest Business Awards in Dubai.
