On 7 October 2023 the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California, hosted the seventh Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards, the HAPAwards. The ceremony ran from the afternoon into the evening.
The HAPAwards honour talent across different genres: music, film, comedy and fashion. Many of the guests express themselves, their culture and their style through their accessories.
Two events in one day
On the same day, as the HAPAwards red carpet opened at the Alex Theatre, the film “Miranda’s Victim” had its premiere, with a cast ranging from Andy García to Donald Sutherland.
Our bow ties
On the red carpet Jasmine Elisabeth and Raimondo Rossi (Ray Morrison) each wore a Davide Cristofaro bow tie.

A few weeks later our bow tie appeared again, in the photo accompanying the news of Raimondo Rossi’s nomination for the Emirates Finest Business Awards in Dubai.
